Information provided by her Grand-Daughter Hazel,
Fanny gave birth to a son. She ran off into the swamps with the child. She was running away from Felix. I believe he was trying to take the baby away. He was known for giving his children away. She was put into the hospital for the insane. That son was Bryant Clark (Whatley) of Birmingham, Alabama. Bryant was put up for adoption. Fanny's Daughter Mary, had gotten in contact with Bryant several years later. I have no other information on him.
2018 Through Ancestry DNA I have found Bryant's family. His grandson and I are a match. Bryant has passed and is linked below. See Bryant's memorial for the family story from his Grandson.
