Rev. J.B. Allison, born in Smith Co., Tenn, in 1828; was 54. At age 17, he was a soldier in the Mexican War. Became a preacher 30 years ago. He was stricken Sunday night with paralysis at the residence of Dr. J.E. Snodgrass. His son Rev. A.A. Allison is pastor at Georgetown.

Remains of Rev. J.B. Allison arrived in Waco yesterday and were taken to the residence of B.F. Richey on South 4th, and to the 5th Street Methodist Church, with Masonic rites. Burial at Oakwood
