Bennie Ray Baze was born on September 21, 1947 in Cleburne, Texas to Bennie G. and Emma Lee (Bosher) Baze. He passed away on Tuesday June 29, 2010. He was 62 years old. He married Linda Darlene Thomas on December 21, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a automotive mechanic as well as pastor for the Brush Arbor Holiness Church. A kind, sweet and loving man that many other children besides his grandchildren called "PaPa". He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Brenda Jean Rice. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife Linda of Jacksboro; his four daughters Belinda Uselton and husband Alvin of Windthorst, Texas, Norma Bernard and husband Phillip of Duncan, Oklahoma, Cynthia Baze of Duncan, Oklahoma and Carolyn Baze of Jacksboro; 3 brothers Charles Baze of Alvarado, Texas, Donnie Baze of Alvarado, Texas and Steve Baze of Burleson, Texas; 5 grandchildren; many other extended family members and friends. There will be a visitation on Thursday July 1, 2010 at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro, Texas from 6-7 pm. Services will be at The Church of God in Boyd, Texas on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 2 pm with Denny Renfroe officiating. Burial will follow at the Brush Arbor Cemetery.
