OBITUARY:
Died at her home near New Brunswick, on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 1893, Mrs. Rachel Parker, wife of Wiley Parker. Mrs. Parker leaves a husband and one son and four daughters to mourn her loss, Olle, the youngest daughter, being single and living at home with her parents. Mrs. Parker was an affectionate wife, a kind and loving mother, and an obliging neighbor, and our community has sustained a great loss in her death. The funeral services were conducted at the Poplar Grove cemetery, Rev. O. C. Wilson preaching the funeral discourse. Mrs. Parker had been a member of the Methodist church for some years and was a consistent and pious Christian woman.
