Loving Father
Grandfather
Fun Uncle
Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, Brownie was the son of Frank A. Blackwell and Daisy Wilcox Blackwell.
Brownie was a great guy, well known in his youth in local sports circles, and had been affectionately knicknamed "Brownie". He was a plumber (like his father) most of his life and served in the US Army during WWII.
He was always full of smiles and sweetness to me. I really liked him.
Married in 1951 to wonderful Elizabeth Emily Cole they had two children and eight grandchildren.
Sadly, he died very young from Hodgkin's disease and is missed every day by his loving daughter.
We all wish he had been given a chance to enjoy his life.
Rest in Peace.
