Dr W J Kavan and his family were at Wahoo, Monday of this week, attending the funeral of Mr Kavan's mother, Mrs Philip Kavan, who passed away on Friday, following a siege of influenza. The deceased, who had been an invalid for a long time, was a pioneer settler of the Wahoo locality. She died at the age of 67 years. Besides her husband, Mrs Kavan is survived by three sons and two daughters.
