Vidalia - Mrs. Martha "Marty" Rozier Allmond, age 78, of Vidalia, died April 1, 2015 in Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a brief illness. She was a native of Vidalia but moved to Brunswick in 1938 before returning to Toombs County in 1963. She graduated from Women’s College of Georgia in Milledgeville and later became a commercial teacher for Robert Toombs Christian Academy. She was a member of the Garden Club, Jaycees, Beta Sigma Phi, Moose Lodge, Vidalia Women’s Club, and Pilot Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ward and Ruth Rozier.

Marty is survived by one daughter, Laura Brown and husband Barry of Lyons; one brother, Chet Rozier of Brunswick; one special friend, Dot Thomas of Lyons; and several cousins.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, April 4th at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Randy McDuffie and Reverend Bobby Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 until just prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice House Foundation at P.O. Box 2277, Vidalia, GA 30475.
