BLOMER ALBERT H., on Oct. 2, 2010. Retired Lt. Colonel from the U.S. Air Force and PA National Guard. During World War II Al was a Radioman in a B-17 over Germany. In the late 1930's he was a pitcher for the 'Triple A' Team, The Manhattan Blue Birds. During that time he was brought up as a pitcher to the New York Giants for a brief time. Al was an avid Phillies Fan. Beloved husband of Rose Anne (nee Alfisi) Blomer. Devoted father of Mary Lou, Thomas and Maureen. Grand-father of Sarah. Brother of Helen. Survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing in Church Friday 9:00 A.M. followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 Cathedral Rd. (off Ridge Ave.) Int.
