Mary is the youngest daughter of Jack and Carmen Thamann Murphy. She grew up in Brooklyn with her three older sisters and two younger brothers. Mary married Oliver "Luckie" Jordan in 1962 and later had three children. Mary worked at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn while her children were young then later removed to Florida to be near her mother, sister and brother. While in Florida, Mary worked at Bonaveture Resort & Spa in Westin, Florida from 1983 until 1994.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, brother, Daniel G Murphy and two nephews, Brian M Murphy and Richard "Ricky" E McIntyre Jr.
Mary is survived by her three children, five granchildren and one greatgrand son. Three sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
