On September 29, 1937 Mary married James Leroy Clay. James was the son of Logan Clay of Massillion, Stark county, Ohio. His Mother was Amelica nee Hass Clay also of Ohio. The two were married at ST.FRANCIS XAVIER CHURCH in Ecorse Michigan. By Rev. T.G.Morin Catholic Priest. Witness to this marriage was Patrick Anthony Dalton, Marys' brother.

James Leroy Clay sadly died on July 02, 2003 .This couple were married 64 years.
