William E. Agrue
William E. Agrue died Thursday in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was 80.
Born in East St. Louis, Ill., he was a pilot in the Marine Air Corps during World War II. In 1955, he moved to Corvallis, where he practiced dentistry for many years. In the early 1980s, he moved to Newport, where he continued dentistry until his retirement in 1997.
Survivors include his son, Philip; daughter, Lisa Agrue-Brizendine; stepdaughters, Lasette Serdinak and Leslie Mack; sister, Venna Abrey; brother, Lornel; and three grandchildren.
No service is planned. DeMoss-Durdan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
