Charles E. Allee, 43, formerly of Rt. 1, Battle Ground, died in General Hospital, Lakeland, FL, at 8:05 PM Tuesday [Dec. 1, 1970], following two months of failing health. Born at Rensselaer, he had lived most of his life in the Lafayette area. He moved to Lakeland, FL, four months ago.
Mr. Allee had been a farmer and truck driver, and was employed as a maintenance man at a trailer park in Lakeland. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Korean conflict.
Surviving are two daughters, Becky and Diane Allee, both of Buck Creek; his father, Everett W. Allee of Medaryville; his mother, Mrs. Hazel Brandenburg of Indianapolis; two brothers, Gilber E. Allee and Lonnie D. Allee, both of Lafayette; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Hazelgrove, Mrs. Janice Dietrick, both of Lafayette, and Mrs. Margaret Peebles of Lebanon. The body will be returned to Lafayette.
