Elizabeth married Henry W. Robinson October 27, 1850 in Catawba County, North Carolina. Soon after their marriage, they moved to Georgia where their 3 children were born. Susannah, also known as Anna or Annie, was born April 5, 1853 in Gwinnett County GA. John Wesley Robinson was born February 16, 1855 in Cherokee County GA. Mary Elizabeth was born June 29, 1857, also in Georgia. Susannah married James Madison Wallis and they eventually moved to Texas. She died in 1930 in Uvalde County TX. John Wesley married and had 2 daughters. He died in Cobb County GA in 1939. Mary Elizabeth married Orvil James Hause & they lived in Georgia several years before moving to Alabama. Mary died in Calhoun County AL in 1935.

Elizabeth's husband, Henry, enlisted as a Private in the Civil War in Gwinnett County GA in 1862. He served in Company B of the 42nd Infantry Regiment, Georgia. He died of smallpox in Vicksburg MS on April 12, 1863 in Hospital #2 (or the smallpox hospital). He is buried in Solder's Rest Cemetery in Vicksburg.

It is believed that later in life, Elizabeth (Bridges) Robinson lived with her youngest daughter, Mary & Orvil Hause and moved to Piedmont, Alabama with them about 1891 - 1892.
