Greetings,

I enjoyed your post for the Thomas R. Beach family.

I noticed some things here that are incorrect, and wonder if you would kindly fix them.

Josiah Harlow Beach was NOT A TWIN, and middle name was not Barlow. He was born 10 March 1843, two years before his brother Reuben.

The brother of Martha Cole Fales Beach, who you show as Harlow Benjamin Fales, is really Harlow Beach Fales, according to his own obituary. He named his son Harlow Bertolette Fales, as seen in his son's obituary.

BEACH, the middle name of Harlow leaves me wondering if the Beach/Fales families had ties before they moved to Ohio.

Thomas R. Beach is Thomas Ringels Beach, not Thomas Ruggles Beach. Source, my mother, whose mother was his granddaughter. I laughed at his middle name when I was young....reminded me of the CIRCUS!

Orange Jenks Beach (Jenks is the surname of a prominent branch of this family) Jinks is not correct.

I have never seen any document to support that Sheldon Beach and Pauline Sheldon were parents of Thomas R. Beach. If it exists somewhere, I would love to see it.

An old history book of the migration from NY to OH leaves room for him in the family of Elihu Beach and Ruth Sheldon. The book talks about the number of boys, of whom all but one can be identified by name. The other clue is that Eva Lillian Beach named her only child RUTH.

Dillie A. is really Dilla Almira Beach.

I am named after Judith Ann Beach, and every Judith Ann who preceded her. There were many. My grandmother was Blanche Emeline Beach, dau of Orange Jenks Beach,
who was orphaned at age 9 and raised by Judith Ann Beach Sutherland.....hence, my name. Judith Ann saved
Grandma's life!

The Granddaughter of Eva Lillian Beach believed the family of Thomas R. Beach was Baptist at some point in time, then, perhaps after his death, became Methodists.
That's unfortunate, because Baptists are among the worst, keeping good records.

Thanks,

Judy
