Graveside services for Blaine Wesley Farley, 65, of 11 E 800 S Orem who died Monday, March 30 1981 at Utah Valley Hospital of cancer will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Provo City Cemetery.

He was born Sept 1, 1915 in Wallsburg to Forrest and Annie Mecham Farley. He married Virginia Waid Feb 2, 1934 in Provo.

He received education in the Provo schools. After their marriage they made their first home in Provo and lived there for 18 years. He later moved to Orem 22 years ago and had lived there since.

He worked in the construction business most of the time and worked on the construction of Geneva and later worked at the plant for eight years. He retired in 1974

He was a member of the LDS Church Orem 60th Ward and Provo Riding Club.

His survivors are his wife, seven sons and one daughter, John Wesley Farley, Portland, Ore, Lewis Blaine, Mrs. Lloyd (Nancy Jean) Bishop, Orem, Ronald Gene Farley, Owen Murray Farley, both of Pleasant Grove, Fred C. Farley, Layton, Jerry Farley, Kearns, Don A. Farley, Spanish Fork, 39 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two brothers and one sister, Roy A. Farley, American Fork, Earl L. Farley, Castle Dale and Mrs. Maybell Chapman, Orem.

Friends may call at the berg Mortuary of Provo, Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and at the cemetery Thursday. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
