The child of an N&W Engineer, she was raised in Bluefield and was a lifelong member of Grace UMC where she became a childhood friend of my Mom. Wanda's husband and Dad spent countless hours hunting and fishing with my Dad.

Wanda was for many years a vice president of the old Commercial Bank in Bluefield and was probably the last person alive who remembered my grandparents.
