He was a son of Donald and Linda Thomas Barker. He was a 1990 graduate of Raceland High School, and attended ACC. Bryan was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coalton, and enjoyed golf, traveling, history and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also was an avid UK fan, and loved to fish, especially in Florida as well as Grayson Lake.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a half brother, Donald L. (Sherrie) Barker Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Kim (Tim) Melvin of Greenup, Deanna (Sean) Curtis of Catlettsburg, and Michelle (Matthew) Earls of Bellefonte; two nieces, Samantha Ray and Lauren Grace; and two nephews, Matthew Tyler and Robert Alan.
