Mrs. Anna B. Howell 82, of Lewistown, Missouri died March 22, 2014 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
The daughter of Edward William and Eula Avis Newberry Lewis was born on August 21, 1931 at Lewistown, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Hubert Donald Thompson on April 22, 1949 at Canton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 18, 1965.
Anna worked various jobs in her lifetime, last being for Sharp's Land and Cattle as a cook.
She is survived by a son, Billy Bruce Thompson and his wife Debbie of Burlington, Iowa; two sisters, Lota Fern Lewis and Sandra Sue Schnitzer both of Lewistown, Mo.; niece, Sonja K. Johnson and husband Joe of LaGrange, Mo.; two nephews, Terry J. Lewis of Lewistown, Mo and Brian D. Schnitzer & wife Jana of Lebanon, Mo.; several great nieces and nephews; and a half-sister, Virginia R. Day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Betty Lou Lewis, brother, Bobby Ed Lewis and brother-in-law, Harold Schnitzer.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lewistown Cemetery with Rev. Ted Middleton officiating.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of services at Arnold's Funeral Home in Lewistown.
Memorials may be made to County Aire Retirement Estates.
