Lawrence Nowak of 926 Lamberton Street died today in St. Francis Hospital. Retired from Thripp's Machine and Foundry Company, he was born in Poland and lived here 56 years.
He was a member of Group 88, Polish Federation of America, and Group 287, Polish Roman Catholic Union.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine Kasprzak Nowak, four sons, Stanley and George of Trenton, Casimer and Michael of California; a daughter Mrs. Joseph Bernath of Hamilton Square, and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the Winowicz Funeral Home, Adline and Beatty Streets. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9 in Holy Cross Cemetery and interment will be in St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Hamilton Township. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening.
