James (Jamie) Edward Barnes passed away Friday (Oct. 26, 2012).
Jamie Barnes was born to the parents of Louise and Otis Barnes on May 27, 1950, in Charleroi Monessen Hospital in Pennsylvania. He graduated from Ringgold School District, Pa., in 1968. Jamie moved to Miami, Fla., in 1974 and some years later moved to West Virginia.
He was always making his friends and even strangers laugh out loud. Jamie was a positive and pleasant person.
He requested to be cremated and his ashes thrown around West Virginia. That way people will know that he's still walking around there. We know Jamie is with the Lord now.
We thank God for Domico Funeral Home for their help and kind words during our time of sorrow.
Jamie leaves behind two sisters in Florida, Patti Anderson and Vicki Edwards; a niece, Donna; three nephews, Mike, Chester and Eben; his son, Jamie; Uncle Joe in Pt. Marion, Pa.; Aunt Esther in West Virginia; numerous cousins in Donora and Chambersburg, Pa.; and a beloved friend, Dana Walls-White and family.
