Chandler, Ariz.--Funeral Mass will be at 10 a. m. Saturday at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Chandler for Benedicta A. Claeys, 65, Chandler. She died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Claeys was a licensed practical nurse and had worked at Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka, Kan., and later at the Veterans Hospital in Phoenix.
She was born Aug. 19, 1935, in Sabetha, Kan., the daughter of Benedict P. and Helen Marilyn Weitharn Claeys. She moved to Arizona in 1985.
Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Buhr and Susan Haug, both of Chandler; a son, Mark Haug, Prairie Village, Kan., nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Mesa's Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa, Ariz. Relatives and friends will meet from 6 to 8 p. m. Friday at Bueler Mortuary in Chandler where a rosary will be recited at 7 p. m.
