DAVENPORT - Services for Norma Anderson, a resident of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Friday at McGinnis, Chambers & Sass Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Anderson died Saturday at her home. She was born July 13, 1923, in Davenport. She married Herbert Sird in Davenport. She married Ralph E. Anderson in Davenport in 1959. He preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1993. Among the things she enjoyed were visiting the river boats, shopping, riding her bicycle and the love and companionship of her family. Memorials may be made to the family. Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Pat Leonard, and husband, Louis, and Joanne Sird and Debbie Anderson and her companion, Melvin Hines Jr., all of Davenport; her sons, Robert Russell, and his fiance, Vickie Falbie, Donald Sird, and his wife, Becky, and Ronald Anderson, and his wife, Gayla, all of Davenport; 33 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Dorothy Rice and Millie Allen, both of Davenport; her brothers, Ray Kuehl, Clearwater, Fla., and Wally Kuehl, Davenport; and her longtime companion, Spencer Lee Cogar. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Joyce McNeal and Sandra Sird; her son, Johnny Anderson; her granddaughters, Deanna McNeal and Christina McNeal; and her brother, Les Kuehl.
