ILLNESS IS FATAL TO MRS. CALLOWAY
Mrs. Pearl Adams Calloway died at her residence, 1605 Vineville Avenue at 5 P.M. yesterday after an illness of only a few hours. Mrs. Calloway was born in Taylor County, the daughter of John H Adams and Mrs. Nettie Smith Adams, and had made her residence in Macon for three years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, W. A. Calloway; three sons, Paul and Wayne Calloway, Macon; Max Calloway, Auburn, Alabama; two daughters Mrs. Chris Demitry, Penascola, Fla.; Miss Juanita Calloway, Auburn, Ala.; three brothers, J. G. Adams, Macon; J. B. Adams, Howard; Guy S. Adams, Quantico, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Sam W. Walker, Valdosta; Mrs. L. A. Adams, Butler; her mother Mrs. J. H. Adams, Howard.
The body will remain in the parlors of Hart's Mortuary pending completion of funeral arrangements.
