Man found dead; in back yard
Lewistown – Mike Hall, 22, of Lewistown, died Saturday as the result of a ruptured blood vessel leading to the brain, according to Fulton County Coroner George Kauzlarich.
Mr. Hall, who lived at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Larry Hood, was found dead in their back yard by his sister when she returned from a shopping trip around 9 a.m. The body was unclothed. She reported that the body was not there when she left earlier that morning.
Kauzlarich said the intense pain caused by the ruptured vessel, probably caused Mr. Hall to run out of the house and continue until it caused his death. He was reported to have been in good spirits the night before.
Born May 13, 1951, in Canton, he was the son of William and Gene (Bishop) Hall.
Surviving are both parents; paternal grandmother Mrs. Virginia Hall, Galesburg; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Bishop, Astoria; a brother, Bruce Hall, serving with the U.S. Navy; four sisters, Mrs. Wilma Jean Hood and Mrs. Leanne Fawcett, both of Lewistown, Mrs. Lorraine Hallmark, Havana; and Miss Rebecca Hall, at home; a niece, Sherry Hood; and two nephews, Allen and Johnathon Hood.
He was employed at International Harvestor Company, Canton, and was a night student at Spoon River College.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Henry Memorial Home, Lewistown.
