Bruce HERTFORD son of Hayes HERTFORD and Ardis (Waidelich) HERTFORD b. May 2, 1945 d. May 29, 1989. Attended Magnolia Elementary School (Riverside, CA). Graduated 1963 Riverside Polytechnic High School and 1967 University of California, Davis. Received secondary teaching credential 1968 University of California, Riverside. Taught English and Drama at Lennox High School (Inglewood, CA) 1968-1975. Married to [still living] in 1972 in Los Angeles, CA. Moved to Orem, Utah in 1976 and established Bufalo Chips, a chocolate-chip cookie store. Received a PhD in Directing from Brigham Young University. Taught one year at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, MN, then returned to California. Taught theater for two years at University of Pepperdine, Malibu, CA, then became head of the Theater Department at Beverly Hills High School. Throughout his life he was involved in numerous school and community theater productions.
