Mary Lovina Bayer 78, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Sunday February 10, 2013 at a Saint Joseph health care center. She was born April 1, 1934 in Troy, Kansas daughter of Martha & Lawrence Cannon. She was a Homemaker, and enjoyed sewing and crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Pentecostal Faith. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William Francis Bayer, her parents, four brothers, Robert, Harley, Lester and Roland Cannon, and a sister, Mila Brundige. She is survived by 6 sons - David (Mary) Bayer, James (Sue) Bayer, William Bayer, Roland (Carolyn) Bayer, Charles Bayer, and Marvin Bayer; 2 daughters - Tonya Warner, and StarLetta (Mark) Wascher; twenty - grandchildren; thirty-eight - great grandchildren; three - great great grandchildren, and a brother - Marvin Cannon; A memorial service will be held at late date. She has been cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Mary L. Bayer Memorial Fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
