Mrs. Amspoker died Thursday, October 26 at her home in Denver after a long illness. She was 87 years of age.
Born June 20, 1874 in Wyoming, Illinois, she was educated in public schools near her home. She later moved to Douglas, Wyoming becoming a public school teacher at the age of 15, and served as Assistant County Superintendent for many years.
In 1915, she was married to John Amspoker, who operated a mortuary and furniture store in Douglas until 1940 when he retired and they moved to Denver.
Mrs. Amspoker was survived by her husband.
