Sarah F. Ahrens, 80, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, formerly of Temple, died Friday, July 19, 2013 in the Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
Sarah was the widow of Mark L. Ahrens, who died in 1999. They shared a marriage of 30 years.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio on February 16, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Gabrile and Maddalena (Gabbippini) Cagnetti.
Survivors include a daughter with whom she resided, and a son, two grandchildren and three sisters.
Sarah was a member of Holy Guardian Angel's Roman Catholic Church, and a 1950 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. She was employed as a folder by the former Hantex Knitting Mills of Temple. Sarah loved sharing time with her family and enjoyed music.
Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Guardian Angel's Roman Catholic Church on Friday at 10:00 a.m.
Family will receive friends on Friday beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc. 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA until the funeral cortège departs for the Mass.
