Columbus, GA- Ruby Allen, 77, of 2310 Watkins Drive, Columbus, GA passed Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Medical Center Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Franchise Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Raymond Cochran, Sr., pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in West End Cemetery. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mrs. Allen was born on July 1, 1934 in Union Springs, AL to the late Savannah Foster Bruner and the late Spurlin Bruner. She was a member of Franchise Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Allen of Smiths, AL; two sons, David Wilson of Columbus, GA and Daron (Veronica) Allen of Smiths, AL; four daughters, Barbara Hughes of Columbus, GA, Linda (Donell) Nickerson, Peggy W. (William) James and Cynthia Sapp all of Phenix City, AL; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
