Ruth Virginia Angle, 75, of 765 Spruce St., Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 30, 1926, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Grace Mowen Nichols.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. "Tiny" Angle, in 1984.
She was employed by Hartle's Confectionery, until her retirement in 1994.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by three daughters, Cherie E. Angle, Sheila K. Reynolds and Theresa M. Hiser, all of Hagerstown; one son, Brian E. Angle of Hagerstown; three sisters, Loretta Rhyne and Linda Newlin, both of Hagerstown, and Susan Obitts of Williamsport; three brothers, Roy Nichols and John Nichols, both of Hagerstown, and Harold Nichols of Mercersburg, Pa.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Nichols and Doris Weller; and two brothers, Sonny Nichols and Richard Nichols.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Barbara Steigerwalt will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
