"Lillian A. Bellows, 96, a resident of Heritage Manor Nursing Home, died at 1:35 a.m. today at St Mary's Hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elias Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Born July 16, 1890, in Wallace Township, LaSalle County, she was the daughter of Henry and Mary (Markey) Monroe. She married Dr. Lyston D. Howe on June 16, 1915. He died April 11, 1942. She then married Albert D. Bellows on Dec. 23, 1944. He died Dec. 26, 1961. A member of the E Re Nata Study, Bellows resided in Streator the past 70 years.
Surviving are one nephew, H. Paul Kelly of Corpus Christi, Texas; two stepsons, Edward L. Bellows of Decatur and Albert Bellows of Lima, Ohio." The Times (Streator, Illinois), September 15, 1986
