Johanna Aldrich, 89, of Milbank, died Friday, March 3, 1995, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Milbank.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milbank. The Rev. Randy G. Bolt will officiate.
Burial will be in Milbank City Cemetery with Emanuel-Patterson Funeral Home of Milbank in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and for one hour on Monday prior to the service at the church.

Johanna Elsing was born June 1, 1905, to William and Louise (Heidenreich) Elsing in Spink County. She attended Northern
State University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in education in 1933, majoring in music.

On Nov. 23, 1938, she married Robert Aldrich. They made their home in Big Stone City. They moved to Milbank in 1978, where she taught in the public schools. She also gave private piano lessons in her home for many years.

She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, where she was organist for many years.

Survivors include one brother, John Elsing of Aberdeen; one sister, Hulda Cover of Peoria, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
