BLAIRS MILLS -- Martha S. Allison, 85, of Allison Road, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at home.

Born Feb. 15, 1918, in East Waterford, she was a daughter of the late George and Emma Plank Clayton.

She was a member of Richvale United Methodist Church and was active with Shade Gap Senior Citizens Center.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Clair W. Allison, died Dec. 4, 1999. Also preceding her in death were five sisters, Veda Kramer, Laura Hough, Edith Taylor, Mabel Peck and Hilda Rhine; and three brothers, William Clayton, Glenn Clayton and James Clayton.

Surviving are five sons, Clyde of Neelyton, James of Mifflintown, Donald of Shade Gap, Dean of East Waterford and Robert of Spring Run; a daughter, Dorothy Hutchinson of Waterloo; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roy Clayton of Waterloo.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in John L. Agett Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, with the Rev. Virginia Eminhizer officiating. Burial will be in Shade Valley Cemetery, Richvale.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight in the funeral home.
