BATHEY, MARGARET A. (nee Cavenee); age 99; died peacefully in her sleep on August 3, 2003. She was a longtime Milford resident, a 1923 graduate of Milford H.S. and a member of the Milford Historical Society. Margaret was preceded in death by husband, Joseph Bathey; brothers, Forest, George and Jarold Cavenee; sister-in-law, Marguerite Cavenee; daughters, Juanita Smith and Dolores Grondin; and grandson, Douglas Grondin. She leaves behind her son, Joseph of Detroit; and son-in-law, J. Gordon Smith of New Baltimore; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Milford Presbytenan Church on Saturday, August 30, 2003 at 11 a.m. Donations in Margaret's memory can be made to the Milford Presbyterian Church where her ashes will be interred in the memorial garden.
