Ser vices were Tuesday in Glenwood for Alene E. Decker, 55, of Silver City. She died Sunday at a Tabor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Decker was born in Mills County and lived her entire life in Silver City. She was a member of the Silver City United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Virgil, just celebrated the 37th wedding anniversary this month.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Trudy Rhoades; sister, Phylis Bendt; granddaughter, Traci Rhoades; and many nephews, all of Silver City.
Services were at Silver City United Methodist Church with Rev. Gene Crossfett officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ken McIntyre. Casket bearers were Bill Hunt, Robert Kruse, Harold Skerritt, Ronnie Bendt, Max Mills, and Dale Malcom. Music was provided by John Clipson, solist, and Ruth Miller, Organist. Internment was at Silver City Cemetery.
