She is survived by two daughters, Christene Daniels and Irene Dunning, both of Poteau; two sons, Curtis Hayes of Poteau and Jack Hayes of West Siloam Springs; two sisters, Veta Lamb of Stockton, Calif., and Stella Johnson of Tulsa; 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and the widow of Rev. Theodore Hays (founder of Poteau Gospel Tabernacle Church). She faithfully attended Poteau Gospel Tabernacle until her last days here on this earth.
