Hubert "Bucky" Emhoolah, 71 of Mt View, Oklahoma was called home by the Lord on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Carnegie Nursing Home in Carnegie, Oklahoma. He was born August 5, 1942 to John Emhoolah and Matilda Agodle in Lawton, Oklahoma. His Indian name was "Quooy-Aim-Hah" which means "Rising Wolf". He was a graduate of Broxton High School in the class of 1961. He received his Associates Degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1964. In of 1965 he enlisted into the United State Marine Corp. He was proud to serve his country and proud of his Native American Heritage. He was in Boot Camp in San Diego, California. He enjoyed traveling across the ocean. He was a member of the Black Leggings and the Kiowa Gourd Clam, the Kiowa Veterans Association, a life member of the Disables Veterans, the American Legion, the VFW and the Kiowa Indian Tribe. He was united in marriage to Florence Goombi in November of 1990 in Irving, Texas. He was a drug and alcohol Counselor in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was a Air Cargo Agent at DFW in Dallas, Texas. His greatest love was for his family. He was a very strong willed man who feared the Lord and had accepted him as his Lord and Savior. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He believed in getting a good Education. He was a man of his word. He touched the lives of all those he loved and will be greatly missed by each of them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Annette Garza and two brothers, Patrick Emhoolah and Gerald Emhoolah.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Emhoolah of the home, one son, Gordon Lee Emhoolah of Norman, Oklahoma, six brothers, John Emhoolah Jr of Denver, Colorado, Lonnie Emhoolah and Parker Emhoolah of Lawton, Oklahoma, James Michael Emhoolah of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Richard Vernal Emhoolah of Idabel, Oklahoma, one sister, Doris Jake of Anadarko, Oklahoma, two special grandchildren, Shanalyn and Gabriel Thompson and granddaughter, Destiny Rene Tosee, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at Ware's Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Ware's Chapel.
Officiating will be Rev. Sonny Ware and Rev. Kathy Longhat.
Burial will follow in the Hog Creek Cemetery west of Anadarko, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma.
