Peggy Angeline Adams born to Carrie McCoy Smith and Fines Smith on October 4, 1933 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. She passed away on June 17, 2009 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 75 yrs 8 months. Peggy was a Nurse Aide at Tahlequah City Hospital for 20 she enjoyed her friends and family very much. Peggy also enjoyed crocheting as a hobby as well as garage sales, she was a collector of many things. Bingo and playing the penny slot machines was a favorite pass time of Peggy's. Upon entering Cherokee County Nursing Center she enjoyed the church singing and church services held there. Peggy was preceded in death by her sister Elverta Reynolds, a brother JD Smith and granddaugther Breanne Mitchell. Sisters, Dollie Manning, Ruth Grimes and Emmaline Smith and numerous neices and nephews. Peggy is survived by her children, Sherry Mitchell of Broken Arrow; Michael Smith his wife Connie of Sapulpa; five grandchildren, Kathy Mitchell, Jason Mitchell, Sean Stopp and Jonathan Moss. Peggy was loved by many and will be missed but she will live on in our thoughts and memories.
