Joseph Walker Harvey was born October 4, 1978. He was unexpectedly taken from us on May 30, 2011. Joe, a good man with a heavy load, was the source of great love and joy to those he leaves behind. We miss him and regret his life was shortened, but we are happy for the peace which he has now certainly found. His father, Alan; grandmothers, Lou Anne Kirby and Emily Harvey; brothers, Bryan and Shawn; sister, Emily; uncles, John, Loren, and Bryan; aunts, Francesca, Elizabeth, and Judy; and his many friends mourn our loss.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Verne Harvey.
Friends frequently comment that Joe had a kind heart. Perhaps that is why he had chosen to become an occupational therapist, a program he was pursuing at Brown Mackie College.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Salvation Army Chapel in Tucson Wednesday, June 15, 2011, with arrangements under the care of Bring's Broadway Chapel. Instead of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Salvation Army or the American Red Cross.
Memorial services and burial will be held at the Bell Park Cemetery near Rochford, SD.
