He was born February 27, 1948 in Attala County. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and a sales representative for Farmland Foods in Kansas City, MO
Survivors include, one daughter, Angie Worden of Alpharetta, GA; his mother, Mildred Chandler of Weir; four brothers, Don Chandler, Robert Chandler, and Jerry Chandler, all of Weir and David Chandler of Jackson; three sisters, Elouise Bain of Louisville, Elaine Phillips of Albertville, AL, and Debbie Mays of Ripley, TN; two grandchildren
Pallbearers were Ken Chandler, Robbie Chandler, Dave Bane, Allen Chandler, Lee Phillips, Chris Chandler, Justin Jones, and Nicky Simmons.
