Robert Horace Bean, age 65, of Manassas, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at his home. He was preceded in death by his father Jesse Clyde Bean and two brothers, James Bean and Charles Bean. Survivors include his mother Verona Counts Bean Craig of Grottoes; his children, Pamela Lucille Dillon of Haymarket, John Scott Bean Sr. of Stafford, Michael Lawrence Bean of Fla., Tanya Jo Matzka of Manassas, Dorothea Elaine "Tinker" Bean of Bristow, Belinda Dawn Demelis of Bristow, Roberta Lynn Franz of Bristow, Amy Rebecca Weimer of Catlett, David Troy Bean of Calif., Robert Thomas Cox, Gwendolyn Ann Cooper, Evan Ashby Cox; four sisters, Lucy Hartman, Ruth Dotson, Dorothy Furrow and Rachel Anderson; one brother, Roy Bean; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, August 7, at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, August 8.
