A William T Morris may have been married to two of her daughters, first Sarah, who poss. died in 1887 and then to Mary Alice in 1889.

Child Terribly Burned.
Eddie Morris, a son of William T. Morris, who lives across the basin on East Park street, was terribly burned last evening a little after five o’clock, the result of playing with matches, which he procured in his father’s room. The little fellow, who will not be five years old until September next, and who still wears dresses, got an old coffee-mill somewhere and attempted to build a fire in it, when his clothes ignited and in a moment were all aflame. He ran screaming toward the house where some one met him and tore the clothing off him, but not in time to prevent him from being half roasted, his body being a mass of blisters from his stomach down. Dr. Shoemaker was sent for, but could ? little to hope for in the case and gave no encouragement as to recovery. His condition was not improved this morning.
The sad affair should impress upon every parent the necessity of keeping such dangerous playthings as matches out of the reach of their little hands.
