He was born Sept. 21, 1942 in Berrien County to the late Dewitt Bostic and the late Mary Green. He retired from Chaparral Boats as director of manufacturing. He attended the Ray City First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye Bostic, who died on June 26, 2011 and was also preceded in death by the father who raised him, Doc Exum.
He is survived by three daughters: Laura (Joe) Adams of Nashville, Tina (Alan) Bennett of Lakeland, and Lana (Neal) Sinclair of Nashville; three sisters, Annette (Larry) Baker of Nashville, Julie (Steve) Moyer of New York, Deborah (Bernie) Drobnicki of New York; two brothers, James (Linda) Exum of Morven and Tim (Lana) Bostic of Washington State; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
