HYDRO--Jeffery Allen Krehbiel was born on September 9, 1963 in Weatherford, OK to Eldon Wayne and Elizabeth Fern (Walker) Krehbiel. He passed away on September 6, 2011 in Hydro, OK at the age of 47. Jeff graduated from Hinton High School in 1981 and graduated from OSU in Stillwater with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 1985.

He married Karen Burkhalter on July 21, 1990 in Granite, OK. They have lived in the Hydro area all their married life. Jeff was a member of County Farm Bureau Board, Oklahoma Wheat Commission, Oklahoma Wheat Growers Association, and National Association of Wheat Growers Board. He had served on the Southern Region Risk Management Advisory Council and Oklahoma Agfund Board. He was an active member of the Bethel Mennonite Church in Hydro, OK, where he served as a deacon.

Jeff's family was the Caddo County Farm Bureau Farm Family of the year in 2003. Jeff worked as a farmer and rancher and owned and operated Southwest Center Pivots. Jeff was an avid OSU football fan, and anything to do with OSU. He loved to go to Brittany's ball games. Jeff received the Oklahoma Wheat Commission Staff of Life Award, was a member of the Wheat Industry Leader of Tomorrow Class of 2003, Wheat Leaders of the Future Class of 2005, the Oklahoma Ag Leadership Program, Class IX, and served on many committees.

Survivors include his wife, Karen, of the home, Hydro, OK; his daughter, Brittany, of Hydro, OK; his parents, Wayne and Fern Krehbiel of Hydro, OK; his mother and father-in-law, Glen and Sue Burkhalter of Granite, OK; his brother, Randy Krehbiel of Tulsa, OK; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Valentine and Margaret Krehbiel, Mary Krehbiel, and Ben and Isol Walker.

Services: Comet Coliseum, Friday, 2:00 PM, September 9 , 2011, Hinton, OK. Officiating: Rev. Raymond Unruh and Rev. Bob Sprunger. Burial: Bethel Mennonite Cemetery, Hydro, OK, under the direction of Turner Funeral Home, Hinton, Oklahoma.
