For Clayton Beam
Funeral services for Clayton Beam, 49, who died Wednesday in Baton Rouge, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. L.L. Clover, Rev. A.T. Powers and Rev. Horace Weaver officiating. Burial was in Brushwood Cemetery under the direction of Green-Kleinegger Funeral Home.
Survivors include his widow, a son, Michael Beam of Baton Rouge; four daughters, Mrs. Mack Gruner, Mrs. R.J. McKenzie and Miss Hilda Beam of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Wayne Reeves of Minden; a brother, Gurley Beam; a sister, Mrs. J.H. Howard of Marion, Ind.; and eight grandchildren.
