Frances was born in 1924 to Anita Disner and Sam Harvey. She was raised in Michigan with her late sister Geraldine Disner Kanter. In 1941, she married the late Jack Feldman; and they had four children: Evelyn Feldman Grossman, Paul, Lanny, and Sanford (Sandy). Frances married the late Mortan Jaffe in 1972. She retired in Florida to be close to her children and grandchildren.

Grandchildren: Michael Grossman, Emily Feldman, Sandra Feldman, Melanie Feldman, Sam Feldman, and Jeffrey Feldman.
