Opal P. Combs of Germantown, formerly of Unity, died Feb. 13, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville. She was 80.
Born in 1917 in West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Washburn and Barbara Lee Funk Reynolds. She was the wife of the late Charles Stanley Combs.
Mrs. Combs was a homemaker and a former member of Laytonsville Baptist Church.
She is survived by seven children: Kenneth Combs of Louisiana; Charles Sherman Combs of Woodstock, Va; Barbara Ann Keller of Taneytown; Richard W. Combs of Ijamsville; Sharon A. Wayne of Frederick; Deryell Combs of Jefferson; Kelvin W. Combs of Union Bridge; one sister, Elaine Campbell of Virginia; and numerous grandchildren.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church of Green Valley, Green Valley, Md., or the charity of one's choice.
Arrangements are being handled by Barber Funeral Home, Laytonsville.
