Services for Reverend Jason Ferguson Duff, 91, of Huntington, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2005, in the Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Mark Cummins and Reverend Gene Hazell officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
Reverend Duff was born September 3, 1914, in Livingston, Texas, the son of the late Alice (Kervin) and Amos A. Duff. He passed away Monday, December 12, 2005, in a Lufkin hospital. Reverend Duff became an ordained Missionary Baptist Minister on November 27, 1960.
Reverend Duff is survived by his wife, Minnie Havard Duff of Huntington; daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Worth Haggerton of Lufkin; Mary and John Madden of Lufkin and Jerry and Philip King of Spurger; daughter, Earlene Sols of Missouri; son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Phillis Renfro of Lufkin; an abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren; brother, Felder Duff of Livingston; and sister, Abbie Alene Duff of Lufkin. He was preceded in death by his son, McCoy Duff.
