Kenneth Ray Diehl, 68, of Claysburg passed away Friday at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
He was born in Claysburg, son of the late Paul and Mary (Weyandt) Diehl.
Surviving are the mother of his children, Deloris Knisely; his children: Neil Ellis Jr., Chet Ellis, John Ellis, Lisa Weyandt, Missy Clemens and Trina Diehl; his grandchildren: Stacy Cowher, Neil Ellis III, Kristen Wright, Wayne Ellis Jr., Ryan Ellis, Brittny Ellis, LaShae Ellis, Haily Weyandt, Johnny Clemens IV, Joshua Clemens and Janelle Ellis; his great-grandchildren: David Cowher Jr., Colby Cowher, Lexis Cowher and Kamden Wright; and his sisters: Thelma Morgan, Wanda Ripple, Sue Cunningham and Karen Leedy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Don Diehl; and his son, Wayne Ellis.
Kenneth was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Claysburg. He enjoyed reading his Bible, searching for mushrooms, hunting, gardening, watching the Steelers and Pirates and spending time outdoors, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor John Clemens officiating. Interment will be at Claysburg Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
