Bertha was born on July 1, 1934 in Chriesman, Texas, to Frank and Olive Eichinger. She grew up in a large, loving family with nine brothers and seven sisters. Bertha married James Bennett Carter on September 27, 1952, in Maysfield, Texas.
Bertha is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Bertha is survived by her children; son Stephen Carter and daughter-in-law, Peggy Carter of Tracy, Ca., son James Carter of Round Rock, son David Carter and daughter-in-law Melody Carter of San Antonio, daughter Rebecca Clark and son-in-law William Clark of Georgetown; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers,four sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation with the family is scheduled at Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. The funeral is scheduled also at Ramsey Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at the Beaukiss Cemetery in Beaukiss, Texas. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bertha's life.
